Happy Halloween
We just got back from a pretty successful Halloween. We went trick or treating in Eagle Ranch with Quincy. The houses were all decked out and we actually had to skip a few that were too spooky! Davis freaked out a few times from creepy decorations and people that were scary. Not to worry...all forgotten now that he is home and in a candy coma. As you can tell from the pictures, he was pretty jazzed to go trick or treating, as was his more experienced and confident big sis.
School Halloween Party
Lilly had her school Halloween party today. She paraded around the school showing off her Jessie costume. Lucky her...she got to hold her teacher's hand and share the leader spot with her good pal, Piper. She had a great day at school and is prepared to have a great night trick-or-treating.

Princess Pumpkin
Lilly carved her pumpkin this afternoon, and in typical Lilly fashion, she created a Princess Pumpkin.
Grasshopper Festival
Jeff is on the Eagle County Trout Unlimited board and each year they hold a fundraiser called the Grasshopper Festival. There is good music, fly fishing type games, a bouncy castle, and good food and beer. Davis really enjoyed all the fly fishing events that took place.

Kids Riding Their Bikes
Today was another beautiful fall day. We spent our afternoon practicing riding our bikes with NO training wheels. Here is a video of one of Lilly's attempts with the help of our neighbor Tony. She is not quite all the way there, but she is making progress and feels very proud of herself.
While I was working with Lilly on riding her bike, Davis crawled atop of our neighbor's bike, got a little shove from Tony, and off he went. Two years old and riding a bike! Needless to say, Lilly was a little bit mad at her brother and told him it was not fair! Her first lesson in fair is not always equal.

Wild West Days
Last weekend we went out to 4Eagle Ranch for Wild West Days, a fundraiser for the district schools. We went on a wagon ride, played lots of games, got prizes, and explored the Flight for Life helicopter. Davis and Lilly looked pretty natural in the helicopter. Who knows, maybe they will become pilots when they grow up!
