Let's Go Fly a Kite

A windy day means time to fly a kite. We went to the soccer field this afternoon and flew Lilly's 2 Dora kites, only 1 came home...that's serious kite flying!

NY - Too Cute Not to Post

Here are a few random pics that were too cute not to share. #1 & #2 Davis has some great facial expressions lately. #3-#5 Taking a bath in Uncle Brett's jetted bathtub...we almost lost Davis in all the bubbles!

NY - Aunties

Lilly and Davis have the best aunties. NY - Cousins

Spending time with cousins is the best. The kids swam together, walked to the bridge together, visited the donkies together, and had sleep overs together. The kids' fondest memories of NY involve their cousins. #1 Brooke, Lilly, Katelyn and Schyler. #2 More cousins...Madison and Davis join the group. #3 Even more cousins...now Chris gets in on the picture. #4 Lilly and Schyler. # 5 Lilly and Katelyn

NY - Horseback Riding

Going riding is one of the highlights of our NY trip. Aunt Kimmy rides a bunch! She had two horse shows while we were there. We had lots of fun watching Kimmy jump her horse over all those jumps. We went to the barn a few times and Lilly got to ride one of Aunt Kimmy's horses, Knuckles. #1 Aunt Kimmy and Lilly opening the gate to go get Knuckles. #2 Knuckles, where are you? #3 Found Knuckles...Lilly and Aunt Kimmy bringing Knuckles to the barn. #4 Brushing Knuckles before riding. #5 Lilly's riding lesson from Aunt Kimmy and mommy spotting. #6 Big girl Lilly riding a big horse. #7 Happy little girl on a horse (uh, oh!). #8 All done, Davis giving Knuckles a pat for a job well done. #9 Knuckles got a bath and Katelyn is drying him off.

NY - Fort Rickey Game Farm

One day when we needed an adventure we went to Fort Rickey Game Farm. The game farm had lots of neat animals, like deer, turtles, rabbits, river otters, snakes (yuck!), goats, and much more. The kids could actually interact and pet most of the animals. NY - Fun Activities

While in NY the kids always enjoy some classic NY activites, like blueberry picking, making smores and eating popsicles, just to name a few. NY - Fun in the Water

One of the best parts of being in NY is being in the water from sunrise until sunset. All kids, young and old, enjoy jumping off the dock, swimming to the raft, and just being near the water. #1 Daddy and D swimming in the lake. #2 Lilly and Grandma looking at fish in the water. #3 D throwing rocks. #4 Lilly playing on the shore. #5 Sister and brotherly love...ahhh, so cute!

Photo Shoot at the Lake

I left my USB cord to my camera in NY, so it will be a little bit longer before I post pictures and videos from our month in NY. But, grandma's friend, Jen Wolsey, is a child photographer, and she came to the camp and took some pictures of the kids. The first picture is Lilly hucking off the end of the dock, inspired by her older cousins, Katelyn and Christopher. The other pictures are just hanging out outside of the camp.
